The Slender Mindset™ Signature Course
The Slender Mindset course is a 10 week interactive course aimed at supporting you to lose weight for long term health. The sessions are between 1 and 2 hours long. Places are limited to a maximum of 12 people. I promise there will be no boring power point presentations!
You will learn:-
- to consider yourself in a broader context to help you focus on your life in general, not just in terms of how you look or how much you weigh
- to identify your reasons for losing weight, how important they are to you, and how they can influence your motivation
- to stay on track and manage setbacks and successes
- to understand how the environment can lead you to eat and how to listen to your body’s cues and make the right choice
- to recognise your triggers for “mindless eating” and develop plans to manage them
- ways to manage self defeating thoughts and attitudes about food
- skills to cope with cravings
- to eat less but enjoy and appreciate your food more
- to focus on taking care of yourself and valuing who you are
- to devise your personal slender mindset plan for the future
Please note that specific diet plans are not covered in this course so it is up to you to choose a plan that suits your lifestyle. Gradual weight loss plans are recommended.
You will be given a course folder to store your handouts for each week.
A closed group will be set up on Facebook for each course to enable you to share your experiences and enjoy mutual support with your course colleagues.
COST: £195.00 for the full 10 week course including course materials
Maintenance Group
Once you have completed the Slender Mindset course you can attend a maintenance group to help you stay on track and overcome any setbacks. Details of the group meetings will be available here and on the Slender Mindset Facebook page.
COST – £15.00 per session
Weight Management Workshops
Details of the workshops and costs will be posted here and the Slender Mindset facebook page as they become available.
Workshops will cover a variety of topics relevant to weight loss and management. The workshops aim to provide an enjoyable and informative day out in pleasant locations.
There are plans for some exciting workshops, so watch this space!
Workshops will:-
- Run from 10am until 3pm
- Include a handbook with space to write your own notes
- Include refreshments
Workshops are payable in advance. In the event of a late cancellation less than one week, I regret that I cannot provide a refund.
Appointments
Christine is available for individual consultations for weight loss coaching and therapy.
As well as helping people with weight management, Christine is also available to provide therapy for a wide range of mental and emotional difficulties, and has experience of working with people who have mild, moderate, and serious mental disorders. Fees – £70.00 per one hour appointment. For longer sessions such as graded exposure work, the fees are negotiable.
Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a 50% fee.
